We have updated our code of conduct and added new protocol for Covid 19.
Protocol for Covid 19
To ensure our return to dance is as safe as possible we have developed the following safety protocol in line with government guidelines. As a lot of our dancers are aware social distancing is something we are used to in dance classes with students regularly needing their own space to perform. - If a dancer or member of their family is showing symptoms of Covid 19 please do not attend class. - The community centre will have clear markings on 'drop off' and 'pick up' areas - Parents/Guardians must walk dancers to the "Drop off" area. - If you must enter the centre please social distance and wear a mask. If you have any questions or enquiries about class or uniform please message us first and we will try to help you with your query over the phone. - The "Pick up" location will be at the bottom of the centre, please wait outside the bottom doors until your child is brought out to you. Parents/guardians are requested to pick-up on time to avoid unnecessary gatherings of students waiting inside the centre. - On entering and exiting the centre, dancers are required to use hand sanitiser. - Dancers must arrive in uniform, please refrain from carrying in extra bags/ coats/ teddy's etc. - We will have 2 metre spacing marked clearly for all of our dancers in the hall. - There will be a 10 minute break between sessions so that the barres can be wiped with disinfectant and the hall can be aired. The toilet area will also be cleaned during this time - First-aid and medical equipment will be placed in the entrance lobby. The designated first aider using this area must first wash hands, then put on gloves and face mask before attending to a dancer needing attention - Dancers are requested to bring their own bottles of water to class. - This protocol will be updated in compliance with government guidelines
